A short scenic boat trip through the picturesque islands of the Gandsfjord will take you to the lovely private island of Sør Hidle. Here on a protected harbour lies the tranquil Flor and Fjære Garden.

As well as witnessing the world’s most northerly plantation of tropical palm trees, bamboo, and banana trees, you’ll wander through the scent of fruit trees and bountiful flowers, with a backdrop of majestic mountains and shimmering fjords.

After an informative, guided walk of the gardens, you’ll have some free time to explore the exotic gardens on your own.
