Bars and lounges

This relaxed poolside bar is a Cunard staple on each of our ships: the perfect place to lie back in the sunshine with an ice-cold drink.

On leisurely sea days, there can be few better ways to pass the time than relaxing by the pool, with your choice of warming sun or soothing shade. Serving a full menu of wines, spirits, soft drinks, beers, and cocktails, all freshly made and hand-delivered to your sun lounger, the Pavilion bar is guaranteed to help you ease into the unique rhythm of a Cunard voyage, no matter where in the world you find yourself.

On Queen Elizabeth and her sister, Queen Victoria, The Pavilion can be found mid-forward on decks 9 and 10. With dual levels and an open-plan layout, it's the perfect place to watch the sun rise and set, to have a romantic meal in the sea air, or soak in the whirlpool, watching newly-discovered ports slip by as you set sail to destinations new.

Queen Anne and Queen Mary 2 feature this versatile venue towards the center of the ship. Both feature a retractable glass roof, but this is where the similarities end.

Queen Mary 2's Pavilion is more intimate, featuring a pool, whirlpools and table tennis, plus the entrance to her unique golf simulator, The Fairways - a guest favorite. The Pavilion on Queen Anne is a glistening spectacle: with two bars, a Wellness Cafe, and a gelateria, the pool isn't the only thing that beckons during the day. By night, the big screen is illuminated with screenings courtesy of our partership with the British Film Institute (BFI), the air fills with music, and the dancefloor is rolled out for all to enjoy.
