Devote an indulgent hour every day to a Cunard tradition: our signature Afternoon Tea.

This daily ritual occurs between 3.30pm and 4.30pm in the Queens Room, a venue akin to a stately ballroom thanks to ambient lighting and ornate furnishings. Come along and witness the procession of white-gloved waiters before they present an array of treats to your table.

The Afternoon Tea menu changes every day. It includes delectable finger sandwiches with a variety of fillings, scones, and elegant patisserie. Delight in our own Signature Cunard scones, available plain or with fruit, with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry preserve. You’ll also have several types of Twinings fine leaf tea to choose from, to accompany your refreshments.

Each element of Afternoon Tea is served on fine bone china, and the whole affair is complemented by a melodic backdrop, courtesy of our resident pianist or harpist.

While many of our guests choose to embrace the sense of occasion by donning a tea dress or a smart casual suit, casual dress is also welcomed.

Cunard’s Afternoon Tea is included in your fare. Grills guests may also take Afternoon Tea in the more intimate Princess Grill restaurant (Grills Lounge on board Queen Mary 2), while alternatively, a more casual interpretation awaits in the Lido or King’s Court.

Gluten free and vegetarian dishes are available. If you have any food allergies or other dietary requirements, please inform us by phone after booking your voyage. Find out more about dietary requirements on board.
