Meet the design team
Meet the world-class team of designers recruited to create the interiors for Cunard's eagerly-anticipated new ship.
Cunard’s long-awaited fourth ship, Queen Anne, is currently being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy.
Award-winning designers Simon Rawlings (David Collins Studio), Terry McGillicuddy (Richmond International) and Sybille de Margerie (Sybille de Margerie Paris) are working with the ship’s globally renowned Creative Director, Adam D Tihany, to bring the famous Cunard style to every inch of the ship.

Simon Palethorpe, former Cunard President.While design details of Queen Anne are still to be revealed, Cunard can confirm some of the key spaces that the expert design teams will be bringing to life, and introduce the designers themselves.
Adam D Tihany
Widely regarded as one of the world’s most talented designers, Tihany has made his name creating beautiful spaces for luxurious and iconic hotels, restaurants and resorts across the globe, including The Beverly Hills Hotel, Belmond Hotel Cipriani and The Oberoi New Delhi. He is the Creative Director for the new ship's interior design.

Simon Rawlings
David Collins Studio is an award-winning London-based interior design practice. Led by Creative Director Simon Rawlings, the studio's credits include The Wolseley restaurant in London, Gleneagles resort hotel in Scotland and the Delaire Graff wine estate in South Africa, together with signature stores for Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo.
This will be Simon Rawlings and his team’s very first interior afloat, and they are working on a show-stopping atrium, the Grand Lobby, the Queens Grill Suites and the main dining room.
Terry McGillicuddy
An illustrious name in hospitality design since 1966, Richmond International’s prize-winning work can be seen in some of the world’s most prestigious hotels, including the Beaumont Hotel in London’s Mayfair, the Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace Versailles, and the legendary Sandy Lane in Barbados.
Terry and his team will be responsible for the theater, new and exciting entertainment spaces and the outside deck space.
Sybille de Margerie
From her offices in Paris, Florence and Dubai, legendary French interior architect Sybille de Margerie has spent more than 25 years creating bespoke interiors for world-famous hotels and opulent private homes.
Her studio will be responsible for the retail spaces, the spa and the flagship event space - the Queens Room. This will also be Sybille de Margerie’s first ship interior.
