Queen Anne in Liverpool

In today’s digital world, it’s easy for photos to be forgotten. At Cunard, we believe those special memories deserve to be celebrated and shared. That’s why we’re excited to announce the Sea of Glamour exhibition – a captivating journey through the glamour and history of ocean travel, beautifully curated by the renowned photographer Mary McCartney. And the best part? You’re invited to be part of it!

Launching on 27 May 2025 at Liverpool’s iconic Liver Building, the Sea of Glamour exhibition will honour Cunard’s incredible 185-year history.  The exhibition will feature a stunning collection of images and stories from glamorous Hollywood stars to guests' personal moments, and a timeline of iconic moments in history - all of which have made our voyages unforgettable.

Over the years, our ships have welcomed legendary figures like Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Rod Stewart, and Meryl Streep. Even world leaders such as Nelson Mandela and Winston Churchill have sailed with Cunard, each contributing to our legacy of glamour and grandeur throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.

Now it’s time to celebrate your memories. We’re inviting our guests to share their treasured photos from their time on board our ships. Your special moments could become part of this extraordinary exhibition, helping to tell Cunard’s story.

To enter, send your digital photo to cunardphotography@cunard.co.uk along with your name, age, the ship, the date the photo was taken, a brief description of the photograph, and contact details by 9 March 2025. You will be notified if your image is selected to appear in the Sea of Glamour exhibition by 1 April 2025.

We’d love your photograph to be a part of our 185th celebration. For a chance to have it included in this special exhibition, search through your pictures and share your cherished memories with us!

Our Sea of Glamour exhibition is one of the many ways we are marking 185 illustrious years of Cunard. To see the other ways we are celebrating our rich history, including a special Event Voyage on board Queen Mary 2, please read our 185th Anniversary article.
