See original productions from the Royal Court Theatre Company or enjoy specially adapted shows as part of our Cunard Showcases programme. From soloists and dance troupes to recitals from Royal Shakespeare Company, every voyage welcomes a unique line-up to the stage. Be dazzled by stunning effects, daring choreography, and elaborate costumes as each act unfolds. You’ll have a choice of three showtimes every evening, so you can dine when you like and still be on time for the show.
Live music on Queen Mary 2
From classical piano and jazz bands to folk singers and string quartets, a cruise on Queen Mary 2 gives you the opportunity to indulge in a wide variety of live music. Bars such as the Commodore Club, Chart Room, and Golden Lion pub regularly play host to musicians in the evenings. Just check in your Daily Programme for listings. Another great option for live music is the Queens Room. While 3pm sees Afternoon Tea served to the sounds of a live harpist, evenings at the Queens Rooms take an up-tempo turn with our popular Party Nights. Join our resident band as they pay homage to a different musical genre each evening, in a venue that never fails to draw a crowd.
Dancing on Queen Mary 2
If there’s one thing we can guarantee, it’s that you won’t be short of a somewhere to flex your feet on board Queen Mary 2. Not only can you take part in dance classes during the day, come evening you can join our dance hosts on the Queens Room floor to showcase your skills. In every lesson the steps to each dance style are broken down so even if you’ve never danced before you’ll soon be jiving with the best of them. Our Queens Room Party Nights always have guests up on their feet and if you’ve still got stamina after this, Queen Mary 2’s nightclub, G32, is the perfect place to keep the party going.
Gala Evenings on Queen Mary 2
Gala Evenings on Queen Mary 2 are always a spectacle. Whether it’s Black and White, Roaring 20s, Red and Gold, or Masquerade, you’ll find the ship suitably attired to tie in with the theme. On these nights, of which you’ll usually have one or two per voyage, we invite you to dress-up in your most glamourous eveningwear for a night of celebration. We also dial up the entertainment on these evenings, so watch out for special surprises and treats throughout the ship. With themed cocktails, music, dancing, and more, Gala Evenings on Queen Mary 2 are your chance to embrace the true romance of ocean travel.
Casino and games
If you’re feeling lucky at sea, Queen Mary 2’s casino is always ready to deliver a taste of Monte Carlo. Take a seat at the blackjack table, play a poker hand, or hedge your bets on roulette, the choice is yours. As well as croupier-hosted tables and gaming lessons you’ll find a wide selection of slot machines, where you can accumulate complimentary drinks as you play. Alternatively, visit the Golden Lion for traditional pub games, including quizzes, bingo, or darts. There’s also an abundance of bars and lounges around the ship where you can puzzle over a crossword or settle into a board game.
