Cape Town terminals and transport
Cape Town Cruise Port is situated on the famous V&A Waterfront, and is close to many shops, restaurant and entertainment venues, in addition to the city centre.
Facilities at the cruise terminal include a foreign exchange, tourist information, bathrooms, free WiFi, a restaurant, taxi services, and a MyCiTi bus station very close by. The terminal is wheelchair and pram friendly.
You can find out more about the cruise terminal on their website.
Cape Town International Airport is a 20 minute drive from the cruise terminal, with taxis available to take you straight to the terminal building. We advise factoring in a little more time in case of traffic through the city.
If your fare benefits include a coach transfer at this port, your coach will meet you outside the airport terminal and deliver you and your luggage straight to the cruise port.
You can get a taxi just outside the terminal building, and a MyCiTi (bus) station can be found about 150 metres away.
Bicycle hire and car hire is not available at the terminal itself, but is available further into the city.
If you arrive by coach transfer, the coach will drop you off just outside the terminal.
There is some car parking available but it is mostly short stay: longer stay parking is available at local shopping centres.
More information on transport at and around the terminal can be found on the terminal website.
