If you are flying to join your cruise, the nearest airport to Civitavecchia's cruise terminals is Roma Fiumicino Airport (also called Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino). Fiumicino is Italy's largest airport and operates flights to more than 200 destinations across the globe.
There are several options for travelling between the airport and cruise terminal. These include:
- Train (via Rome)
- Private or shared transfers
- Coach transfers (if you book your flight with Cunard)
- Taxis and rideshare services

Civitavecchia is served by regular direct train services from Rome (Termini or Trastevere stations). The journey usually takes about an hour.
Civitavecchia train station is located in the centre of town, very close to the cruise port. The ARGO bus service operates between the station and Largo della Pace, the cruise shuttle interchange. From here, you will be able to board a free shuttle bus to your cruise terminal.
It is also possible to walk from the train station to the cruise terminal (about 2.5km) or the cruise shuttle interchange (about 1.5km).
