Brooklyn Cruise Terminal

All cars enter the terminal from the Bowne Street and Imlay Street intersection. Parking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is on the south side of the terminal entrance overlooking the Statue of Liberty. On-site parking is open, and porters are available by 9am. Parking is located in an outdoor car park with security. 

The current overnight rate for cruise passenger parking (correct as of 25 October 2024) is US$45.00/per night (up to 24 hours). Taxes are included in the rates. Payment is accepted by cash and the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Please note that guests arriving by private car should park before dropping off luggage on the second level for check-in. Passengers requiring parking are unable to drop off bags and then park without exiting the terminal.

You can make a reservation to park via the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal website, but reservations are not a requirement. 

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

The journey from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal typically takes 35 to 60 minutes by taxi or rideshare service (e.g., Uber or Lyft), depending on traffic. Taxi stands are located outside each terminal at JFK, and wheelchair-accessible taxis are available upon request. If you require assistance, please seek out uniformed airport staff.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is approximately 35 to 60 minutes from the cruise terminal by taxi or rideshare service.

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is typically between an hour and 90 minutes from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal by taxi or rideshare service, but please account for potential traffic delays.

If you are flying to join your cruise and book your flight with Cunard, you'll be met at your airport by Cunard representatives and transferred to your ship by coach.

New York Pennsylvania (Penn) Station - Intercity rail

If you're travelling to New York by train, Penn (Pennsylvania) Station is a major hub for Amtrak intercity rail services and commuter rail services operated by the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and NJ Transit (NJT).

From Penn Station, you can reach Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in about 25-30 minutes via taxi or rideshare service. You may also take the subway on the 2 or 3 Line (express trains) from Times Square-42nd Street to Borough Hall station in about 15-20 minutes. From Borough Hall, it's a quick taxi or rideshare ride to the cruise terminal. 

Grand Central Terminal - Metro-North Railroad 

Another arrival option by train is Grand Central Terminal, which primarily serves the Metro-North Railroad commuter rail. From Grand Central, you can take the subway (S Line) to Times Square, then transfer to the 2 or 3 Line to reach Borough Hall. From Borough Hall, it’s a quick taxi or rideshare ride to the cruise terminal.

Atlantic Terminal - Long Island Rail Road

The closest commuter rail station to Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is Atlantic Terminal, which is served by Long Island Rail Road services. From Atlantic Terminal, you can reach the cruise terminal in about 15-20 minutes via taxi or rideshare service.

Subway and Public Transport

If you take the subway to Borough Hall station (served by the 2, 3, 4, 5, N, or R lines), you can easily catch a quick taxi or rideshare service to the cruise terminal, or walk four blocks and take the B61 bus on Atlantic Avenue (at Court Street). If you choose the bus, alight at the corner of Pioneer Street and Van Brunt Street and then walk approximately four long blocks to the terminal entrance at Pioneer and Conover Streets.

Alternatively, you can take the F train to Smith/9th Street station and transfer to the B77 bus. Get off the bus at the corner of Conover Street and Dikeman Street.
