Film Festival at Sea

Discover the world of film on this special Event Voyage, in partnership with the BFI, on Queen Mary 2.

8 - 15 March 2025, Queen Mary 2

Make the most of life on board this iconic ocean liner with a myriad of film-themed events and activities throughout your voyage.

Hear from industry experts. Test your knowledge at film-themed quizzes. Discover the world behind the scenes of the film industry and learn the art of film making for yourself in BFI-led workshops.

Special guests from both on and off camera join your voyage, including award-winning actress Miranda Richardson, director and writer Gurinder Chadha, and director and producer John Hay, to name just a few.

You’ll also be treated to a performance of Posting Letters to the Moon by actors Simon Williams and Lucy Fleming: a show based on the wartime letters between the actress Celia Johnson and her husband, Peter Fleming.

You could fill your week at sea attending bespoke activities or simply claim a seat in Illuminations and sit back and watch the magic unfold, as cinema classics are screened. Of course, plenty of well-loved films can also be enjoyed in the comfort of your suite or stateroom, should pyjamas and room service be the order of the day.

Enjoy all this as well as the favourite experiences that you can always count on. Art classes and fine dining. Pub fare and karaoke. White Star Service that takes care of the finer details. Find everything you need to create your perfect holiday with Cunard.
