Dining in the Grills restaurant on board a Cunard cruise ship

Cunard

Author

As Queen Anne’s inaugural sailing creeps ever closer, we’re delighted to reveal that we’ll be exclusively partnering with renowned chef Michel Roux.

Roux, who has two Michelin stars and owns La Gavroche in London, will design a new Gala Evening menu for the Queens Grill restaurant. He’ll also breathe new life into the Golden Lion’s dining offer, with a revamped menu of exclusive new dishes that offer a refined yet rustic reimagining of classic pub fare.

A new world of flavour

Do you dream of warm nights in the Mediterranean, feasting on grilled fish that tastes as if it had been plucked from the sea that morning? Or hand-rolled sushi dipped in a slick of soy sauce with just a whisper of wasabi? Perhaps you love nothing more than a perfectly crisp papadam coated in lime pickle. Or a Porterhouse steak, still pink in the centre. Indulge in the signature tastes from the destinations you love with alternative dining venues on board Queen Anne.

Discover restaurants influenced by the regions our ships sail to and fresh interpretations of much-loved Cunard signatures. From rustic but refined pub fare at the Golden Lion – with menus reimagined by chef Michel Roux – to a journey through the spice regions of India at Aranya, a world of flavour awaits.

Perhaps you’ll choose to spend your evening soaking up the last of the sun on Tramonto’s terrace, passing around sharing plates and sipping fruity wines. Or maybe you’ll fulfil all your seafood fantasies at once with a fruit de mer platter laden with crab, oysters, and lobster at Sir Samuel’s. Enjoy an evening that teases your taste buds and delivers a few surprises, as you tour India’s spice trail at Aranya. Or experience a first for our fleet at Aji Wa, feasting on silky slithers of sashimi, washed down with sake, at the sit-up sushi bar.

Fine dining or informal. Lunchtime or late. Enjoy more ways to dine and a greater choice of restaurants than ever before, with alternative dining venues on board Queen Anne.

Tramonto

Sun-soaked flavours and sparkling sea views. Find yourself transported to summer nights in Seville, Sardinia or Sicily at Tramonto. Savour signature Mediterranean cuisine and sip locally sourced wines. Dine al fresco on the terrace and feel the sunshine on your skin, wherever you are in the world.

Aji Wa

The hissing sizzling woks. The zing of wasabi. Spices escaping from beneath bamboo lids. Fluffy bao buns and slithers of sashimi. Welcome to Aji Wa – a fresh take on Japanese dining and a first for Cunard. Experience Japanese hospitality at its best and discover an ever-evolving menu with dishes that ebb and flow with the season.

Sir Samuel's

The most succulent steaks. Mouth-watering fruit de mer platters. Irresistible dover sole delicately deboned at your table. Sir Samuel’s is a culinary coupling of land and ocean, where low lighting and velvety textures invite you to linger late into the evening and nothing (least of all the ingredients) comes as standard.

Aranya

Warm papadams dipped into fruity chutneys. Delicately spiced sauces that flood your palate with flavour. Fluffy rice, perfumed with fragrant cardamon. Dining at Aranya is a chance to take your taste buds on a tour of India’s spice regions. Travel through Goan beaches, Keralan countryside, and Delhi bazaars, and let our chefs surprise you with playful interpretations of classic Indian flavours.
