Share in a meaningful moment among the preparations, as Cunard President Katie McAlister and Queen Anne's Captain Inger Thorhauge celebrated with crew in the beautiful Grand Lobby.

Following an official blessing from the Bishop of Winchester, a traditional ceremony that's held to protect Queen Anne and all who sail on her, our 249th ship welcomed her first guests on board. With an electric atmosphere and excitement in abundance, it was a very proud moment for all of us at Cunard.

Throughout her maiden season, Queen Anne will sail from Southampton to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands, and the Norwegian Fjords, visiting over 60 unique destinations in 16 countries and taking in several of Europe’s most enchanting cities.

Don't miss your chance to join Queen Anne for her official naming voyage, including an historic ceremony in Cunard's spiritual home: Liverpool. Or join her for a variety of 'firsts', such as her first voyage to the Norwegian fjords, her first call in New York, or her first Christmas cruises.
