Legendary chef Michel Roux is the two Michelin-starred former Chef Patron at Le Gavroche. During a career spanning over 40 years, he has opened multiple restaurants including Roux at Parliament Square and two restaurants at The Langham, London. He has presented numerous television shows including MasterChef: The Professionals.

Rachel Humphrey
Growing up in a family where delicious, home-cooked meals were served up every day, Rachel always knew that being a chef was the only thing she ever wanted to do. Rachel joined the Le Gavroche kitchen team in 1996 as an apprentice and was quickly promoted to First Commis within a year. Under the watchful eye of Michel Roux, Rachel worked her way up to eventually be the Executive Chef for one of the most famous culinary names in the world.
Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager
Identical twins Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, familiarly known and 'The Sisters', joined Michel Roux at Le Gavroche in 2001. The Sisters are much-loved familiar faces for patrons of Le Gavroche, known for their effortless charm, expert efficiency, and passion for food, drink, and hospitality. They are inseparable, having spent just one week apart in their entire lives, The Sisters love everything about Japan, be it culture, food, or history. They speak Japanese and visit frequently.

Can I book dining experiences?
Yes, Le Gavrohe at Sea dining experiences (Le Gavroche at The Verandah on board Queen Mary 2, and Le Gavroche at Sir Samuel's on board Queen Anne) will be available to book on My Cunard from six months prior to departure. Check your pre-cruise emails for more information once this becomes available.
What dishes can I expect on the Le Gavroche at Sea menu?
The five-course menu showcasing classic Le Gavroche dishes and recipes will give you the opportunity to taste some of Norway's finest seafood, such as Norwegian snow crab, butter-roasted Atlantic halibut, and pickled mackerel, all followed by a delicious dessert. Wine pairings will also be available on board for an additional charge.
Can I still attend Le Gavroche at Sea if I have dietary requirements?
Dietary requirements can be catered for, and there is a vegan/vegetarian menu.
Will I be able to see Michel Roux while he is travelling?
Chef Michel Roux will be hosting several events that are free to attend while he is travelling on board both Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne. These include live cooking demonstrations, book signings and Cunard Insights talks. Look out for more information on these events in the Daily Programme once you are on board.
