In partnership with The King’s Trust

Cunard is a proud partner of this inspiring charity, helping change young people’s lives for the better.

Launched in 1976 as The Prince’s Trust before transitioning to The King’s Trust in 2024, the youth charity aims to help disadvantaged young people by offering the support needed to overcome personal, academic and social barriers to achieve their potential and stabilise their lives. To date they have helped over 1 million young people across the UK.

In 2018, The King's Trust expanded to communities across the world including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and most recently, America.

Platinum Patrons

In the presence of His Majesty King Charles III, the Queen named our ship Queen Victoria in December 2007, marking the beginning of a journey with Cunard and The King’s Trust to help as many young people as possible realise their potential.

As Platinum Patrons of The Trust, we are incredibly proud to be part of a group of the most dedicated supporters, enabling change on a large scale alongside some of the world’s leading companies, charitable foundations and philanthropists.

Our partnership so far

Thanks to the continuous generosity of our guests, crew and friends, we have raised over £3 million since 2007 via fundraising activities on board our ships and on land. As well as supporting The Trust with crucial fundraising, we work with local teams to offer employability workshops on board our ships and at our Head Office in Southampton, to help equip young people with the skills and confidence to enter the travel industry, raise aspirations and open up a wide range of careers on land and at sea.

How to donate

Many of the fundraising activities take place on board our ships, however you can still help us to continue in supporting this worthy cause from ashore by making a donation directly to The King’s Trust using the button below.

Together, we can give young people hope.

The King’s Trust Carol Concert, in partnership with Cunard

We are delighted to present The King’s Trust Carol Concert, in partnership with Cunard, at St Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge, London on Monday 9 December.

This unforgettable evening of sing-alongs carols, musical performances, and readings from celebrity guests will be the very first King’s Trust event.

The King's Trust logo

The King’s Trust have introduced a new logo, which has been created by renowned designer and former beneficiary of The Trust, James Sommerville OBE. In the following video, which was also shown to His Majesty The King, James explains the thinking behind the design, which was created in consultation with young people and the wider community of King’s Trust volunteers, colleagues and partners.

Million Makers 2024

Million Makers is an innovative entrepreneurial challenge. It sees teams of employees from organisations across the UK compete to raise as much as possible for The King's Trust. The scheme raises over £1million every year, which goes towards changing the lives of young people across the UK, and we are proud to be taking part this year.
