Next, wander through the colourful Aoshima Shrine, on Aoshima Island, which is set in a lush, tropical jungle, ringed by beautiful white beaches. At low tide you may see the geological phenomenon of the enigmatic Devil’s Washboard, naturally occurring straight rows of rock.
