Best Mediterranean islands to visit by cruise
Spending on the seven seas: your guide to spending on board credit
When sailing on a Cunard voyage, you have the luxury of knowing that much of your experience is included in your fare. Well-appointed accommodation. Fine dining. Spectacular entertainment. Our famous White Star service. Knowing this, the real challenge can be deciding what to spend your on board credit on first, so here is a helpful guide spelling out exactly that.
Unforgettable dining experiences
Beyond the main restaurants included in your fare, you can embark on a culinary adventure with a variety of delicious dining options on board.
Steakhouse at the Verandah
Steakhouse at the Verandah (Sir Samuel’s Steakhouse & Grill on Queen Anne) is a crowd favorite across the fleet, and the perfect setting for a special occasion. Expect steaks and seafood of the highest caliber - sumptuously soft wagyu, delicate Dover sole, and fruit de mer platters laden with irresistible shellfish.
Dinner at the Lido
On select nights throughout your voyage, the Lido restaurant (on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth) and Kings Court (on Queen Mary 2) pay homage to the destinations we sail to and present carefully-curated dining experiences infused with flavors from around the globe. Perhaps enjoy pan-roasted sea bass and fortified wines at La Piazza, or the unmistakable flavors of East Asia with a dinner at Bamboo?
Alternative dining on board Queen Anne
On your next Queen Anne voyage, why not delve into a new world of flavor and book a table at one of Queen Anne's exclusive alternative dining restaurants?
Tramonto celebrates fresh Mediterranean flavours to produce authentic dishes that celebrate Europe's sunshine region. Savor the culinary artistry and signature flavours of Japan at Aji Wa, where the menu changes throughout the seasons, or embark on a flavorful journey through the Indian subcontinent, with a special dinner at Aranya.
A touch of Champagne
You might choose to enhance your morning with a Champagne Breakfast in your stateroom, sipping Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne while you sample poached lobster Benedict with velvety Hollandaise sauce. Or why not elevate your Afternoon Tea, laden with delicate finger sandwiches and patisserie treats, with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, Brut, or Demi Sec?
A world of drinks
Bars and lounges
From cocktails on the lido deck to a nightcap before bed, you'll be able to find the perfect setting for your plans on board a Cunard Queen. Our venues, like the Commodore Club, the Golden Lion pub, and the Pavilion, blend a laidback atmosphere with classic Cunard charm, making the ideal venue for any occasion. Or you could explore our range of bars and lounges that are unique to your ship. For example, Bright Lights Society on Queen Anne pairs exotic drinks with enthralling entertainment, whereas Queen Mary 2 plays host to the only Laurent-Perrier Champagne bar at sea.
Drinks packages
From intriguing cocktails to specialty hot drinks, there’s so much to enjoy with our drinks packages. Whether you prefer soft drinks, hot beverages, wines, or a bit of everything, our drinks options are sure to suit your tastes.
Endless discovery
Expert-run drinks masterclasses
For the cocktail connoisseurs and aspiring sommeliers on board, we have a range of masterclasses to help you expand your knowledge on your favorite drinks, or as an entertaining way to enjoy an afternoon tipple. Led by professionals, experiences range from whiskey tasting, and recreating cocktails from the Commodore Club menu, to complete Wine & Spirit Education Trust courses with our Cunard Wine Academy (exclusively on Queen Mary 2).
Watercolor classes
Get creative on sea days with watercolor art classes hosted by our on board artist in residence. Our kits contain all the high-quality materials you need to create a masterpiece, which you can showcase to your fellow guests in an open exhibition and take home as a unique keepsake when you disembark.
Fitness classes
If you want to continue your health and wellness regime while on vacation, or want to try something new in a laidback setting, then a fitness class could be the perfect addition to your cruise itinerary. There are a range of classes on board for beginners and experts alike, including Pilates, yoga, and spin classes. So, whether you want to ignite your endorphins or start your morning in relaxation, there is a class for you. If you're not sure where to start and want advice from a professional, you'll also have the opportunity to book in personal training and/or consultations.
Clarendon Fine Art Gallery
On board all four Cunard Queens, find Clarendon Fine Art Gallery. Here you’ll find opportunities to expand your own collection as well as feel inspired by a rotating selection of carefully chosen artworks. Among our collections you’ll see L.S. Lowry, Sherree Valentine-Daines, Fabian Perez, Philip Gray, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Christian Hook, and Rebecca Lardner. There are also a few more contemporary names including Banksy protégé, Mr Brainwash.
Should owning artwork pique your interest, you could attend an art seminar on board, or book in with one of our expert consultants to help you find the perfect piece.

How does on board credit work?
Your on board credit can only be spent on your ship and not before embarkation. To make any purchases, enquire on board and present your stateroom keycard. Any and all charges will then be made to your on board account, which you can view via My Voyage. This is where your remaining on board credit amount will be displayed.
To book a spa treatment, a meal at an alternative dining venue, or any of the other experiences mentioned above, please enquire on board. If you'd like to arrange something before you board, it is possible to book dining, Shore Experiences, spa, and gifts online via My Cunard. Please be aware that your on board credit will not be redeemed against bookings made on My Cunard - only those made on board.
During your voyage, you can view your on board credit balance and transactions in the ‘On board account’ section of the My Voyage digital planner, which can be accessed for free through the ship’s Wi-Fi. Please note, on board credit is non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
