Since 1869, when the first ship arrived, Geiranger Port has served as a gateway to scenic beauty, delicious flavors, and the rich history that changed the region’s way of life.

Of the 1200 fjords in Norway, only Nærøyfjord and Geirangerfjord have been designated UNESCO World Heritage areas thanks to their outstanding natural beauty.

Spanning 15km in length and over 1.5km at its widest point, the rippling deep blue waters of the fjord reach down to depths of 700 meters while the snow-tipped peaks soar above, up to 1,700 meters.
