Solo travelers
The solo traveler experience
Staterooms for solo cruisers
While we’re sure you’ll find our solo staterooms meet all your needs and more, you also have the option to book a Britannia double stateroom for a single supplement, should you prefer a little more space.
Solo traveler cruise dining
One of the joys of cruising solo with Cunard is the spectrum of cuisines you’ll encounter on board, the majority of which are included in your fare. You’ll find signature dishes on each of our menus, inspired by the destinations in which our ships sail. And, while we’ll always keep a table reserved for you in your main restaurant, the choice of where and when to eat is entirely yours – as is the option to eat alone or with your fellow travelers. Simply let our front-of-house team know whenever you’re in the mood for company and we’ll happily accommodate you at a shared table.
How formal (or informal) you choose to be at mealtimes is also your prerogative. Our ships offer a range of dining styles, from a la carte restaurants and a self-service buffet to gastro pub classics and alfresco deck grills. Between 3.30-4.30 pm each day you’ll be invited to indulge in finger sandwiches, patisserie, and our signature Cunard scones as part of our Afternoon Tea service. The midnight buffet, open from 11.30 pm, offers warm cocoa and cookies to help you wind down for the night. And if you wake up feeling peckish, our 24-hour complimentary room service is always on call.
